The day rate covers the robot, an operator who controls him all day, programming in advance, set-up and take-down, and insurance during the event. Travel time is included in the price we quote, also for Belgium and Germany, as is an overnight stay when needed.

On top of that: VAT, an overnight stay if the event ends late or we test the day before, and every extra robot, because each one needs its own operator. Half days or several days we price separately. You'll know what it comes to before you sign. Another model or something special in mind? Just ask.

How it works

How the day goes.

  1. You ask about your date

Through the form, by phone or by email. Within one working day you hear whether the robot is free and what it costs: a fixed amount and a suggested programme for the day, with no obligation.

  2. We agree the programme

Which robot, when the show moments are, what he says or does. Nothing gets added afterwards.

  3. Robot and operator are ready

Before the doors open our operator sets up. He runs the programme, controls the robot all day and packs up again. You don't have to operate anything.

Honest about what works

What a robot like this can and can't do.

There's a lot of noise about what humanoids can do, so here it is plainly. An operator always comes along and controls the robot all day.

What he does

  • Walk around among your guests, shake hands and wave (not every model)
  • Pose for photos and video
  • Dance or do a show routine to music, behind a barrier
  • Play a set message through the speaker on his chest
  • Carry a tablet on his chest, with the day's programme or a short survey

What he doesn't do

  • Pick things up or carry them. The hands are fixed, and on some models they're fists
  • Climb stairs or a platform. If he needs to go on stage, we lift him up and want to know the time in advance
  • Talk on his own or answer questions
  • Get controlled by you or your guests, the manufacturer doesn't allow it
  • Acrobatics or stunts, not even on request

You arrange the tablet yourself, and it has to be landscape. Need something special, like pulling a cover off a car? We usually solve that with a trick rather than with the hands. Tell us in advance, and we'll work out whether it's possible and whether a test is needed.

On your stand

Why a humanoid works on your stand.

Stopping power

A humanoid makes people stop, even at a trade show where everyone keeps walking. What that does for your stand traffic depends on the stand and the show. We won't give you a number, we've never measured it.

Content that makes itself

Visitors film it and share it. Your brand travels along on their socials.

Conversation starter

The operator gets visitors involved and hands them over, warmed up, to your sales team.

No hassle

We handle the tech, the safety and the insurance. You run your stand.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions.

How much does it cost to rent a humanoid robot for an event?

Day rates run from € 1,250 (Bumi, the smallest) to € 3,350 (EngineAI T800, full size), including an operator and a programme. The Unitree G1 is our pick; the R1 is the compact, cheaper option. All prices are starting prices, excluding VAT. Travel time is included in the price we quote, also for Belgium and Germany, as is an overnight stay when needed. An extra robot with its own operator is also in the quote up front.

What is included in the rental?

Everything for a working demo: the robot, an operator who stays with you all day, a programme agreed in advance (walking, meeting visitors, photo moments) and set-up and take-down. Insurance during the event is arranged per booking, so you don't need to take out anything yourself. Travel time is included in the price we quote, also for Belgium and Germany, as is an overnight stay when needed.

How far ahead should I book?

The sooner the better. Each robot can only be at one event at a time. You'll know within one working day whether your date is free. In trade show season, September to November, popular dates go first: allow three to four weeks then.

What does the robot need at the venue?

A clear area of about 3 by 3 metres with a level floor and a normal power socket (230V) nearby. The operator brings the rest. Stairs and raised platforms are not possible; if he needs to go on stage, we lift him up. If something fails, the operator switches straight to a backup programme with the hardware on site.

Can I control the robot myself?

No. You and your guests can't control the robot yourselves, the manufacturer doesn't allow it. Our operator controls him all day. He gets your visitors talking and hands them over to your team.
